Vjosa Osmani : Second female president of Kosovo

Vjosa Osmani became the second women to held the post, after Atifete Jahgaga, who was the the first president from 2011 to 2016.
Osmani took office Tuesday in a ceremony with a guard of honour.
The 120 seat parliament, which conveyed in an extraordinary session for two days, gave 71 votes for Vjosa, in the third round of voting, while 11 votes were invalid.
Ms, Osmani was the top vot getter in that election.
Two opposition parties and the ethnic serb minority party boycotted the votting.
