Karnataka launched ‘ Janasevka scheme ‘ for home delivery services
The karnataka government has launched a doorstep delivery scheme. ‘Janasevka scheme’ in a few municipal cooperation wards to ensure home delivery of various services.
This scheme will be really beneficial for the strugglers of corona virus pandemic.
Jansevaka scheme enhances great relief to senior citizens and also to the people who are not able to travel to get there govt official documents.
Government included 53 important services in this scheme, and ensures home delivery services of official documents like:
- Health cards
- Ration cards
- Marriage registration cards
- Senior citizen identity card etc.
A jansevak is appointed to deliver services under the schemes.
The jansevak will reach the residence of the citizen, collect required documents and deliver the service at his door step.
A toll- free helpline has been set up for this scheme which will work from 8am to 8pm .
The government also launched a website Jansevka.Karnataka.gov in – to provide citizens with easy access to important government services.
People can also apply from home by paying the fee online by smart phones.
The cost of service is Rs. 115 . This amount does not include the cost of documentation.
At present , the scheme is implemented in Bengaluru. Then, it would be extended to the rest of karnataka, depending on workload.
Our objective is to make the lives of the citizens of karnataka easy by launching this scheme, ” The Chief Minister said.
