The UAE ‘s unmanned probe ‘ Al Amal ‘ which means hope in Arabic entered Mars orbit.

The Emirates Mars Mission was first announced in july 2014 , developed and operated by the Mohammed Bin Rashid space centre .
In july 2020 , it was launched from Tanegashima space centre in Japan abroad a Mitsubishi Heavy industries.
The primary objective of this mission is to collect data on martin climate dynamics. It helps scientists to understand why Mars atmosphere is decaying in to space.
The probe satellite carries three scientific instruments:

- A far UV imagining spectrograph

The UAE has become the fifth country after the US, Russia, China, the EU and India to reach the Martian orbit.
