Delhi government presented a “Deshbhakti Budget” themed on patriotism

The Delhi government presented the budget for financial year 2021-2022 on March 09,2021.
The government presented a ₹ 69,000 crore for Budget which was themed on patriotism.
Deshbhakti highlights that, the government seeks to increase the per capita income of the Delhi in order to reach to the level in Singapore by year 2047.
- Economy of Delhi is the 13th largest in all the states and union territories.
The initiative under the ‘Deshbhakti’ project will be Kickstarted with a gala event on March 12, and will be implemented over the next year, in the run up to India’s 75th year of Independence.
The Deshbhakti period will be organised in city schools.
The Deputy Chief Minister announced that, government has proposed to allocate rupees 45 crore in order to install high masts so as to hoist national flag at 500 places in Delhi.
In the 2020-21,the government had proposed to collect Rs. 44,100 crore as tax revenue.
