Jeff Bezos ‘ space venture Blue Origin announced on 5 May 21 that it will launch its first astronaut crew to space on 20 July 2021.

The flight will launch on the anniversary of NASA Apollo 11 moon landing.

New Shepard rocket is designing to carrying as many as six people at a time on a ride past the edge of space.

The company will host a public for seat on the first crewed launched.

  • Blue origin has test flown the rocket and capsule more than a dozen times to date without crew.
  • Blue Origin named it’s spacecraft for Alan Shepard who became the first American to travel in to space 60 years ago.
  • New Shepard, a fully autonomous spacecraft that can carry up to six people.
  • Blue origin was founded 21 years ago by Amazon billionaire and the world richest person, Jeff Bezos.
